Het ‘11e Nationaal Congres Soa*Hiv*Aids’, het jaarlijks terugkerende congres rond Wereld Aids Dag, zal dit jaar plaatsvinden op vrijdag 30 november 2007 in het RAI Congrescentrum te Amsterdam. Zet deze datum alvast in uw agenda.
Formulier voorstellen workshops en onderwerpen
In navolging van de Wereld Aids Campagne wordt het thema van dit congres: leiderschap. Wat zijn goede voorbeelden van leiderschap in de soa- en aidsbestrijding en waar wordt leiderschap juist gemist? Welke verantwoordelijkheden en invloed hebben politieke, religieuze en gemeenschapsleiders? Wat is leidend voor het dagelijks handelen van professionals, vrijwilligers en mensen met hiv of een andere soa?
Nieuw in het programma is dat er wordt gestreefd naar minder plenaire presentaties en meer debat. Er wordt overwogen een filmprogramma aan te bieden tijdens het congres.
Het congres wordt georganiseerd door Soa Aids Nederland, het Aids Fonds en STOP AIDS NOW! met financiële steun van de ministeries van Buitenlandse Zaken en VWS. Het congres biedt een platform voor alle organisaties die betrokken zijn bij de bestrijding van soa en hiv. Net als de voorgaande jaren zal er aandacht zijn voor de nationale en internationale bestrijding van hiv en andere soa en voor onderzoek.
Graag nodigen wij u uit om ons te informeren over:
- Welke workshops u zélf wilt organiseren over welke onderwerpen
- Welke onderwerpen u graag door anderen ziet behandeld in workshops
- Welke onderwerpen en sprekers u graag in een debat zou zien
- Welke nieuwe films en video’s u wilt laten vertonen tijdens het congres
- Welke tentoonstellingen, exposities en andere expressievormen u wilt verzorgen tijdens het congres
Voor het indienen van uw voorstellen kunt u gebruik maken van het voorstelformulier. Mail dit a.u.b. uiterlijk 4 mei naar congres@soaaids.nl. De voorbereidingscommissie zal in juni op de voorstellen reageren.
In oktober kunt u een officiële aankondiging verwachten en vanaf die tijd kunt u via onze website informatie over het programma bekijken.
The ‘11th National STI*HIV*AIDS Conference’, a conference organised annually close to World AIDS Day, will take place on Friday 30 November 2007 at the Amsterdam RAI conference centre. Please make a note of the date in your diary.
Form proposals workshops and subjects (scroll down for English)
The theme of this conference is that of the current World AIDS Campaign: leadership. What are good examples of leadership in the fight against AIDS and STIs and where is leadership missing? What are the responsibilities and influence of political, religious and community leaders? Is there a guiding force in the daily lives of professionals, volunteers and people with HIV or other STIs?
A new feature in this year’s programme is that we aim to have less plenary presentations and more debate. We are also considering the addition of a film programme.
The conference is being organised by Soa Aids Nederland, the Aids Fonds and STOP AIDS NOW! with funding from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Ministry of Health, Welfare and Sport. It provides a platform for all organisations involved in the fight against STIs and HIV. As in previous years, the focus will be on both national and international HIV/STI issues as well as on research.
We would very much like to know:
- if there are workshops on any subjects that you would like to organise
- which subjects you would like to see others cover in workshops
- which subjects and speakers you would like to see included in a debate
- if there are new films or videos you would like to show during the conference
- if there is anything you would like to put on display or perform in any way during the conference
Please use the proposal form to send us your proposals. Please send this to congres@soaaids.nl by 4 May at the latest. The conference committee will react to your proposals in June.
